St. Joseph lost against Victoria West on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Flyers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Flyers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.

St. Joseph's offense was headlined by Jordyn Johnston and Maelee Montgomery, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Zoey Henning and her ten assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Victoria West, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, St. Joseph will face off against El Campo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Victoria West will be paying especially close attention to the Flyers' match: after the Flyers face off against Tournament Opponent, they'll take on Victoria West again at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
