Basketball Game Preview: Indian River Wolves vs. South Jefferson Spartans

The Indian River Wolves and the South Jefferson Spartans will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Last Friday, Indian River took a blow against Watertown, falling 83-44. The Wolves have struggled against the Cyclones recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South Jefferson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They managed a 54-49 victory over General Brown on Saturday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Indian River fell to 2-1. As for South Jefferson, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Indian River came up short against South Jefferson in their previous matchup back in February, falling 56-52. Can Indian River avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
