Jah Sheppard Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Martin County's Jah Sheppard, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Sheppard rushed for 173 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game.

Perquimans found a leader in Braylon Knapp as the team took down Washington County on Friday. Knapp was dynamite, throwing for 287 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt.
Knapp must have Washington County's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Knapp last faced the Panthers back in September of 2023, he threw for 425 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.1% of his passes.

Another Game with at Least 105 Rushing Yards from Kamerin Mcdowell-Moore
Kamerin Mcdowell-Moore's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his third-straight game with 105+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
Mcdowell-Moore must have Bertie's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Mcdowell-Moore picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in September of 2023.

Maddux Thach Delivers Electric Performance Vs Washington County
The second Perquimans player making an appearance here is Maddux Thach, and for good reason. He picked up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 55 yards.
For the year, Thach has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 78 receiving yards per game.

Moore Came Up Big in Martin County's 25-0 Victory
Martin County picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kel'Javious Moore. Moore was unstoppable, making 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and snagged an interception. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made nine or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
Gates County had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Moore it was a similar story. When Moore last faced the Red Barons back in September of 2023, he made 17 total tackles.
