After a string of five wins, Hanover's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hingham Harbormen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Hanover started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-13, 29-27, 25-20.
