Volleyball Recap: Cunningham Takes a Loss

Cunningham lost against Berean Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20.

Cunningham's offense was headlined by KYRA MORGAN and EMILY OGG, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from RYLEE MILLER and her three assists. GRACE HAGEMAN controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cunningham has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Berean Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7-2 record this season.

Cunningham has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Hartford on the 4th. As for Berean Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sterling on the 4th.
