Mountain Grove had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Cabool on Thursday. The Panthers blew past the Bulldogs 14-1. That 13 run margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Landry Golden was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Lyla Golden was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Mountain Grove's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Cabool, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Mountain Grove will host Willow Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cabool, they will venture away from home to square off against Houston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
