Basketball Recap: El Camino Wildcats vs. Sage Creek Bobcats
The El Camino Wildcats won the last time they faced the Sage Creek Bobcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. El Camino took down the Bobcats 62-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for El Camino.
El Camino's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Devin Mcgee, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Pomare, who scored 12 points.
El Camino has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Sage Creek, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Camino will take on the Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in La Costa Canyon's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games. As for Sage Creek, they will head out on the road to take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Torrey Pines presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bobcats in California (the Falcons are ranked 37th, while the Bobcats are ranked 247th).
