It was fun while it lasted, but Lomira's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Tuesday. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laconia Spartans. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lomira fell to 7-1. As for Laconia, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Lomira will head out to square off against Winnebago Lutheran Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
