Baseball Recap: Southwest Eagles vs. Ferguson Falcons
Southwest won against St. Brendan last Thursday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Southwest Eagles walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Ferguson Falcons. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 win the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Southwest got a great performance from Ederson Urbina as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Urbina a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
On the hitting side, Southwest's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Max Rico, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Isaiah Williams also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
