After losing to Woodlawn-B.R. the last time they met, Southside decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Southside Sharks walked away with a 60-50 win over the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Sharks, who have now won four contests in a row.

Despite the loss, Woodlawn-B.R. still got an impressive performance from Kaleb Brandon, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 21 points. The dominant performance also gave Brandon a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (80%). Kelinee Stone was another key player, going 5-for-9 on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Southside pushed their record up to 23-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Woodlawn-B.R., they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-12.
