Utah is the first state to kickoff the high school football season. Action in the Beehive State begins Aug. 13 with one game, followed by a full slate the next day.

Some big-time players have played prep ball in Utah, especially of late. Some notable studs include Penei Sewell, Porter Gustin, Jay Tufele, Puka Nacua, Siake Ika and Noah Sewell.

We take a look at the next batch of Utah talent as we zone in on the MaxPreps preseason All-State football team.

The lone representative in the Top 25 national rankings, Corner Canyon (Draper), has the second most players selected with five. Timpview (Provo) was the only school with more, placing six on the All-State squad.
