Softball Recap: Kearny's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kearny). They blew past the Julian Eagles 14-1 on Wednesday. The Komets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Kearny's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Julian, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Kearny will be playing at home against Sweetwater at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kearny will aim to continue their five-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Julian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lincoln at 3:30 p.m. on March 27th.
