Basketball Game Preview: Presidio Blue Devils vs. Kermit Yellow Jackets

The Presidio Blue Devils will face off against the Kermit Yellow Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Presidio ended up a good deal behind Alpine and lost 47-32. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Bucks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Kermit had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Coyotes 61-8. The Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Kermit has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Presidio, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-7.

Presidio beat Kermit 33-24 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Does Presidio have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kermit turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
