Fort Hancock posted their closest victory since December 2, 2023 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Non Varsity Tournament Opponent 59-56. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs who have now won three matchups in a row.

Max Apodaca was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 25 points and nine boards. Armando Munoz was another key player, going 6 of 8 on his way to 16 points and six steals.

Fort Hancock is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
