Soccer Recap: Fernley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fernley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Elko Indians. One thing that didn't help Fernley's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Angel Zhay Pochop.

Fernley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Elko, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fernley is set to take on their familiar foe Churchill County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Elko will challenge rival Lowry at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
