Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Lake Brantley Patriots and fell 48-12.

Maddie Woodrow was the offensive standout of the game as she posted 19 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia White, who scored eight points.

Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lake Brantley, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.

Trinity Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-24 defeat against University on the 13th. Lake Brantley has also already played their next matchup, a 46-6 loss against Lake Mary on the 13th.
