Jasper had already won 22 in a row and they went ahead and made it 23 on Thursday. They blew past the Liberal Bulldogs 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Jasper was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-11.
Jasper can attribute much of their success to Aly Osborne, who had six aces and three digs. That's the most aces Osborne has posted in her last eight games.
Jasper was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberal only served three.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Libby Stebbins, who had ten digs. Stebbins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season.
Jasper pushed their record up to 30-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Liberal, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.
As of now, neither Jasper nor Liberal have any future games scheduled.
