Volleyball Recap: Central Noble Comes Up Short

Central Noble came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lakeland Lakers, falling 3-0. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Lakers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-14.

Whitney Replogle paced Central Noble's offense, picking up six kills. Replogle got some help from Kaydintz Bales and her seven assists.

Central Noble has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Lakeland, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.

Central Noble has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Whitko on the 29th. As for Lakeland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Bethany Christian on the 27th.
