Basketball Recap: Foard Comes Up Short on the Road Against South Iredell + How To Watch

Foard had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 70-46 to the South Iredell Vikings. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 19 in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Foard lost, don't look at Damarion Gaither-Walton. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Holden Caldwell, who scored eight points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foard will host St. Stephens at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Iredell, they will square off against Surry Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
