Baseball Recap: Dos Pueblos' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dos Pueblos won against Foothill Tech last Saturday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Dos Pueblos walked away with a 6-1 win over the San Marcos Royals. The victory was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Seth Tedeschi spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Dos Pueblos' success: when he allows at most three hits the team is undefeated (and 3-5 when he doesn't).

On the hitting side, Zach Gesswein was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Alexander Hajda was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Dos Pueblos now has a winning record of 6-5. As for San Marcos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Dos Pueblos has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Pacifica on the 19th. As for San Marcos, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-4 defeat against Dos Pueblos on the 21st.
