Softball Recap: Little Flower Catholic for Girls' Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Little Flower Catholic for Girls brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victors by a 22-12 margin over Abington Friends on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Little Flower Catholic for Girls as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Sophia Pacell was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with six RBI, two triples, and three runs. Grace Bowdren was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Little Flower Catholic for Girls was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .550. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.
