St. James sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Socastee on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Sharks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kai Fakhouri was the driving force of St. James' attack as he scored both of St. James' goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Myrtle Beach now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. James, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
