Football Recap: Hemphill Hornets vs. Joaquin Rams
A victory for Hemphill just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They lost 52-26 to the Joaquin Rams. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Hemphill still got an impressive performance from Trevon Mcdaniel, who rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Mcdaniel's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 158 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Hemphill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Joaquin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Hemphill will challenge Garrison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
