After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Overton, Hillsboro was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hunters Lane Warriors a 7-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-9 back in March.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Hunters Lane, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Hillsboro will head out to challenge Cane Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Ravens have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.25 runs per game on average), something the Burros will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hunters Lane, they will host McGavock at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 10.9 runs per game this season.
