Baseball Game Preview: The Dalles Riverhawks vs. Molalla Indians

For the second straight game, The Dalles will face off against Molalla. The Riverhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

The Dalles will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Molalla on Thursday. The Riverhawks walked away with a 12-9 victory over the Indians.

For Molalla's part, Grant Brusseau made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Douglas Wells, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The Dalles has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Molalla, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5.
