Basketball Recap: Eagan Skates Past Burnsville with Ease

Eagan won the last time they faced Burnsville and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagan Wildcats blew past the Burnsville Blaze 64-31. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Blaze are ranked 310th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eagan's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Burnsville, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Eagan will challenge Prior Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Prior Lake's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. Burnsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
