Recap: Mifflin County Huskies vs. Selinsgrove Seals
After a string of three wins, the Mifflin County Huskies's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Selinsgrove 56-51. Mifflin County lost against Selinsgrove in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 40-32 score last time.
Selinsgrove can attribute much of their success to Ries Naugle, who scored 23 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Naugle has scored at least 25% of Selinsgrove's points. Another player making a difference was Jace Diehl, who scored 10 points.
Mifflin County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Selinsgrove, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Mifflin County will head out on the road to face off against Red Land at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Selinsgrove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hughesville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
