Football Recap: Miramar Drops Highest Score of Season Against Stranahan

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miramar). Their defense stepped up to hand the Stranahan Mighty Dragons a 13-0 shutout on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Patriots with their most commanding win of the season.

Miramar's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Stranahan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Miramar and Stranahan will both be playing Dillard the next time they take the field. Miramar will host Dillard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Stranahan will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on April 1st.
