Basketball Recap: Evansville Christian Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Evansville Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 60-44 to the Forest Park Rangers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Rangers are ranked 234th).

Despite the loss, Evansville Christian still got an impressive performance from Bella Hall, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 boards. Those 17 rebounds gave Hall a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hannah Higgs, who posted 11 points.

Evansville Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Forest Park, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-11 record.

Evansville Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Evansville Harrison at 7:00 p.m. As for Forest Park, they will host Northeast Dubois at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
