Basketball Game Preview: Winamac Warriors vs. Argos Dragons

The Winamac Warriors will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Argos Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Winamac is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Winamac is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since November 30, 2023 on Saturday. They lost 51-26 to Tri-County. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kaelyn O?Connor put forth a good effort for the losing side as she posted six points. Mershai Loehmer was another key player, putting up five points.

Meanwhile, Argos came up short against West Central on Saturday and fell 45-38. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Winamac's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Argos, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Winamac skirted past Argos 57-55 when the teams last played back in November of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Argos' Samantha Redinger, who put up 30 points and seven boards.
