Volleyball Recap: Augusta Christian Takes a Loss

Augusta Christian came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Ben Lippen Falcons, falling 3-0. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-10.

Ben Lippen can attribute much of their success to Avery Bonner, who had six digs and four aces.

Augusta Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ben Lippen, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Augusta Christian and Ben Lippen will both be playing Cardinal Newman the next time they take the court. The Falcons will host the Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
