Baseball Recap: South Park Takes Down Mt. Pleasant in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but South Park had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Mt. Pleasant Vikings 4-2.

South Park's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Mt. Pleasant, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7-1.

Coming up, South Park will challenge Waynesburg Central on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.3, the Raiders 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Mt. Pleasant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
