Recap: Blacksher Bulldogs vs. Chickasaw Chieftains
The Blacksher Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 57-33 walloping at the hands of Chickasaw. Blacksher has not had much luck with Chickasaw recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Chickasaw can attribute much of their success to Jaquives Daniels, who scored 19 points. That's the first time this season that Daniels scored 15 or more points. Robert Jackson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Blacksher bumped their record down to 1-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Chickasaw, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
Blacksher will head out on the road to square off against Washington County at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Washington County is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Chickasaw, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Luke's Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
