Volleyball Recap: Fort Recovery Has No Trouble Against National Trail

Fort Recovery won the last time they faced National Trail and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians put the hurt on the Blazers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fort Recovery was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-11.

Cameron Muhlenkamp paced Fort Recovery's offense, picking up 14 kills. Muhlenkamp got some help from Kayden Ranly and her 34 assists. Muhlenkamp was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win got Fort Recovery back to even at 1-1. As for National Trail, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fort Recovery will host Marion Local at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for National Trail, they are taking a road trip to face off against Valley View at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
