West Vigo extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Sydney Macke. The Vikings came out on top against the Seven Oaks Classical Firehawks by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Macke, who had 13 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant West Vigo was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13.

The win got West Vigo back to even at 4-4. As for Seven Oaks Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, West Vigo and Seven Oaks Classical will both be playing Dugger Union the next time they take the court. The Firehawks will head out to face the Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
