Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Del City). They were the clear victors by  an  18-6 margin over the Star-Spencer Bobcats on Monday. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Braxton Alexander made a splash no matter where he played. He  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. What's more,  he posted five  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Del City got a  massive  performance out of  Josh Hardeman, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, three  doubles,  and one  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  Hardeman a new career-high.  Kale Standifer was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double.
 Del City  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .788. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Del City's win bumped their record up to 6-26. As for Star-Spencer,  they are  on  a  32-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
As of now, neither Del City nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
