Softball Recap: Branham Bruins vs. Willow Glen Rams
If Branham was riding high off their 11-0 takedown of Westmont last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Branham Bruins fell just short of the Willow Glen Rams by a score of 4-3 on Friday. Branham was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Willow Glen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April.
Abigail Fales made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
On Willow Glen's side, Alanna Clincy was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
