The Kennard-Dale Rams will take on the Susquehannock Warriors at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.
On Wednesday, Kennard-Dale was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastern York, taking the game 7-3.

Taryn Ashenfelter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Elaina Zabkowski was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Serruto, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Susquehannock made easy work of Spring Grove on Wednesday and carried off a 13-4 win.
Ella Wetzel was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). Wetzel was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and nine RBI while going 4-for-5. Those nine RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Macie Minton, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Kara Paternini also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Susquehannock lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Susquehannock's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Kennard-Dale, their record is now 16-2.
Both Kennard-Dale and Susquehannock just can't seem to miss. The Rams have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Susquehannock struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Kennard-Dale skirted past Susquehannock 4-2 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
