Basketball Recap: Knight Starts Season with Victory Against Vasquez

Knight had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Vasquez Mustangs 81-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Vasquez still got an impressive performance from Noah Rowley, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 16 points. Daeron Bankett was another key player, putting up ten points.

Coming up, Knight will take on Windward in a tournament on Monday. As for Vasquez, they will be taking part in a tournament against Crescenta Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
