It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Central had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the West Warwick Wizards. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Yadiel Ventura was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for West Warwick, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record this season.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against East Greenwich on the 29th. As for West Warwick, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 win against St. Raphael Academy on the 29th.
