Baseball Recap: Hyde Park Comes Up Short

After flying high against Perspectives Leadership/Technology on Tuesday, Hyde Park came back down to earth. The Thunderbirds came up short against the Warriors on Thursday, falling 18-8. The Thunderbirds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 16-6.

Hyde Park now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Hyde Park will challenge Tilden at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, they will take on Bowen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors are facing the Boilermakers at the right time seeing as the Boilermakers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
