Volleyball Recap: Marysville Comes Up Short at Home Against Upper Arlington

Marysville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Upper Arlington Golden Bears by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Marysville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-17.

Upper Arlington has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marysville will head out to face off against Jonathan Alder at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Upper Arlington, they will venture away from home to challenge Big Walnut at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
