Volleyball Recap: Pike Comes Up Short

Pike lost against Ben Davis on April 7th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Devils came up short against the Giants, falling 3-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Firroune Ouangueye paced Pike's offense, picking up nine kills. Ouangueye got some help from PP Moo and his 12 assists. Desmond Ryle controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pike's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Ben Davis, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Pike has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Lawrence Central on the 29th. As for Ben Davis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on the 24th.
