Desert Oasis gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Valley Vikings. The win continues a trend for the Diamondbacks in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won nine in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Desert Oasis took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-6.

Bryli Allen paced Desert Oasis' offense, picking up six kills. Allen got some help from Carly Rogers and her six assists. Rogers also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hazel Barnum, racking up four apiece.

Desert Oasis has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Boulder City on the 15th. As for Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Foothill on the 15th.
