Football Game Preview: Park River Aggies vs. Turtle Mountain Braves

The Park River Aggies will challenge the Turtle Mountain Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Park River has six straight victories, Turtle Mountain has 13 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Park River is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Grafton, posting a 39-8 win. Given the Aggies' advantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Spoilers are ranked 45th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Turtle Mountain fell victim to Carrington and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Cardinals, falling 40-0.

Park River's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Turtle Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Park River against Turtle Mountain when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 32-0 win. Will the Aggies repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
