Softball Recap: Ryan Raiders vs. Lake Dallas Falcons
Ryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the Lake Dallas Falcons by a score of 10-8. Ryan was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lake Dallas apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
For Lake Dallas' part, Addison Gallindo was incredible, scoring a run while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Prewitt, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Ryan's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Lake Dallas, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-8-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Grapevine the next time they take the field. Ryan will host Grapevine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lake Dallas will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
