Volleyball Recap: Ariel Bolante Key Part of Team Effort in Falcons Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pershing County, Coral Academy of Science - Reno was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Silver Stage Nighthawks by a score of 3-1. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Nighthawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 25-13, 25-17.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ariel Bolante, who had six aces and five digs. Those six aces gave Bolante a new career-high.

Bolante wasn't the only good servers: Coral Academy of Science - Reno was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Silver Stage only served three.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno's record now sits at 5-13. As for Silver Stage, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
