It was a good run, but Franklin Community unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Fishers Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20.

Jacob Miller paced Franklin Community's offense, picking up eight kills. Miller got some help from Jesse Kaster and his 15 assists.

Franklin Community's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Fishers, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 26-2.

Franklin Community has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Lincoln-Way East on the 10th. As for Fishers, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Marist on the 10th.
