Volleyball Recap: Herculaneum Comes Up Short

Herculaneum's tournament run continued when they took on Crystal City on Saturday. The Black Cats fell 2-0 to the Hornets.

Macy Pope paced Herculaneum's offense, picking up ten kills. Pope got some help from Abbigale Pruitt and her eight assists. Pruitt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Herculaneum's loss dropped their record down to 6-14-5. As for Crystal City, they now have a winning record of 11-10-3.

Herculaneum has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Kingston on the 11th. As for Crystal City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against West County on the 13th.
