After a string of six wins, Industrial's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Columbus Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Industrial was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-18.

Industrial's defeat dropped their record down to 29-14. As for Columbus, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 32-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Industrial will square off against rival Palacios at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Columbus is set to face off against their familiar foe Tidehaven at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
